Thing is - if I ask the wife "Can I go surfing on Saturday?" she is a lot less likley to say yes than if I asked "Can I surf in a contenst this weekend where the first prize is a crate of red wine and a Desperate Houswives DVD box set".

The truth has no place in marital negotiations!

Thumbs up

Corndog,
If its competition longboarding you want, then head for the place they call Saunton, and seek out the Hotdoogers, there really good at all that stuff and if there are any Woolacombe club members that want to give it a go this year then it has been passed onto me that we are all more than welcome to attend, help out or even enter....

Sorry, the clubs not running at the moment. The current membership ran out at the end of last year.
