Spring Tide Storm

We all saw the storm coming and secretly hated the fact the ‘big’ day fell on a Saturday. No-body likes to fight for waves in the crowds, but unfortunately, we are all somebody else to somebody else.

There are few spots that can hold that kind of swell. As everyone knows how to get to Lynmouth, I decided to enjoy the day-time ‘nightlife’ that Woolacombe has to offer; pool and cider at Jack’s Bar and eatery then Jenga at Bar Electric.

As the wind and the waves grew and the tide pushed in, it was time to head down to Mill Rock to watch the sun set as the tide peaked…
