One of my favourite places to eat and drink is fast becoming known on a national level.
Congratulations to Steve Cave and the team on your latest review in the Food & Drink Guide.
Frankly I couldn’t have put it better myself xxx
Read on if you will….
Situated in the centre of one of North Devon’s prettiest villages – Georgeham – The Kings Arms is easy to find and just minutes from the free village car park on the main route from Croyde to Woolacombe. This pub is an independent, entirely free-of-tie, genuine freehouse – and it shows. The Kings Arms is always welcoming, always friendly, and boasts a fantastic, ever-changing menu as well as delicious specials conjured daily from well-sourced local ingredients.
The focus here is on community, genuine hospitality and value. The wine list, as well as the delicious menu itself, represents great value for money. The atmosphere, price and excellent food encourage diners back time and again – as is evident from the pub’s strong local following.
Winner of Devon Life magazine’s Food & Drink Award for Best Devon Sunday Roast 2013-14, and the North Devon Journal’s Highly Commended Pub of the Year 2014, The Kings Arms is a great place to eat and make merry.
A lovely balcony and a sunny, airy upstairs dining room provide extra space, and the downstairs bar and restaurant area always has a great atmosphere, whether it’s filled with delighted diners, laughing locals, or revelling dancers enjoying one of the many live music nights.
A traditional pub through and through, The Kings Arms is child and dog-friendly and always offers great real ales and friendly smiles from behind the bar. It’s a must-stop in beautiful North Devon.
