On the face of it, one might be forgiven to thinking that pressure chart is somewhat lacking on the swell front, but look again, that square looking high pressure between Europe and the USA is forming what we call in the trade, trough lines right down the middle of the North Atlantic.
It’s been a while since we have seen anything like this and i’m not a great fan of long range forecasts, but I predict we could be on for some small but fun clean waves right through the weekend and indeed beyond into next week.
We shall see what occurs, but you can be rest assured, I for one will be keeping one eyeball all over it…
P.S. Don’t forget it’s BST this weekend, so darker mornings for a while, but later lighter evenings for that extra much needed stoke.
