RIP CURL PRO BACK ON

SUPERTUBOS, Peniche/Portugal (Thursday, October 18, 2012) – The Rip Curl Pro Portugal, Event No. 8 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, has been called ON this morning with the remaining Round 3 heats commencing at 8:15am. Rounds 4 and 5 as well as the Quarterfinals are on standby.

“It’s a solid four-to-six feet (1 – 1.5 metres) out there this morning and we’ll be commencing at 8:15am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “It’s a bit rough, but there are some good sections and we anticipate a full day of competition. Round 3 is on and Rounds 4 and 5 as well as the Quarterfinals are on standby.”

Up first this morning will be Taj Burrow (AUS), 34, up against Kolohe Andino (USA), 18, in Heat 3 of Round 3 at the Rip Curl Pro Portugal.
