Don’t forget eyeballers that today is both the first quarter moon and September equinox.

In other words everything is equal, in other words everyone around the world will see the moon at or in close vicinity of the first quarter phase as the sun sets tonight.

Any first quarter moon that happens to fall on the day of the September equinox will also show you where the sun is positioned in front of the constellations of the Zodiac on the December solstice.

Confused ???

Best just celebrate by having a barbeque, sizzle some sausages and watch the sun go down.

It could be a while before we see it again.
