Circle One would like to welcome on-board Sam Cavin as a new team rider! We love to support new talent and Sam is no exception, already a seasoned longboarder at the age of 14! We are proud to be able to support Sam on his journey to longboarding glory, watch this space!
Sam started surfing as a toddler, and his 5th birthday present was a board! Since then he has been nagging his Dad every weekend to take him to Saunton – Lucky for Sam Dad loves the sport as well so most weekends you will find him up at Saunton. Sam started competing at the age of nine in the Hotdoggers Club u18 competitions, where in his first competition he achieved 2nd place! However, Sam only really started taking competitions seriously last year where he made his debut year on the British Long board circuit. After a first rounder in the first comp Sam came from behind to achieve 4th place overall on the tour! This makes him, the number one ranked junior in England! Last week his place has just been confirmed on the Devon team traveling to France this July for the European Alantic Watersports Festival. After finishing third in the last years competition, he cannot wait for this year’s one! He says he is buzzing for the 2012 competitions to start and looking forward to a great season of surfing!
