We’ll see the first eliminations of the event this morning, when the Repechage rounds of the Boys Under-16 and Boys Under-18 take the water. The waves are holding steady from yesterday in the three- to five-foot range for Day 4 of the DAKINE ISA World Junior Surfing Championship Presented by Billabong.
With two podiums running heats, first in the water and on the webcast will be Jorge Alarcon (ECU), Miguel Pimientel (GUA) and Paolo Schoene Ruiz (PUR) from Boys Under-18, and at the opposite podium will be Jafet Melgar (MEX), Kalum Temple (CAN) and Kevin Montiel (CRI) from Boys Under-16.
Today’s competition schedule is the following:
- Repechage Round 1 Boys Under-16 (Podium 2)
- Repechage Round 1 Boys Under-18 (Podium 1)
- Repechage Round 1 Girls Under-18 (Podium 2)
- Repechage Round 2 Boys Under-16 (Podium 1)
- Repechage Round 2 Boys Under-18 (Podium 2)
